After Comparing Trotec, a Helix CO2 Laser, and an HS-1500W-3015, I Stopped Shopping by Price

If you ask me, the cheapest laser cutter quote is usually the most expensive machine you’ll ever buy. That’s not a slogan. It’s what I’ve seen after six years of managing capital equipment budgets, negotiating with vendors, and tracking every invoice in our procurement system.

But the company behind those things made a big difference in our cost model. In my opinion, efficiency is a competitive advantage. I’m willing to pay for it.
